Join us on the Fiji Islands in September/October 2023. It is the perfect time to visit the Volivoli Beach Resort.  The water is warm enough (about 76F) that a shorty or 3-mil suit is all you require to stay nice and warm. Beautiful warm sunshine will be waiting for us. I can’t predict the weather, but the the diving will be excellent!

This is sold as a 10-day adventure for both scuba divers and non-divers alike. Shorter or longer trips are available.  We would leave on September 21 and arrive at the Nadi airport on September 23 due to passing the international date line during our flight. Non-Divers will have a blast soaking in the Fiji culture.

From Nadi International Airport turn left towards the part of the island that gets the most hours of sunshine per year, the Suncoast.

After a two-and-a-half hour picturesque drive, passing azure coastline, dense green jungle, rural, colourful Fijian villages, and fresh fruit stands along the way—stopping to allow the odd cow, wild horse, barefoot farmer or school children to cross the road—you’ll arrive at our remote island paradise, Volivoli.

Bask in the sunshine around our oceanfront swimming pool surrounded by flourishing gardens, lounge in a hammock by the beach watching the sun rise and set, dine on inspired local cuisine in our two restaurants, enjoy a cocktail at one of our three bars, regenerate in our restorative spa, or explore a colourful underwater world on a diving adventure with Ra Divers, our world-class dive shop (with arguably the most modern set up in the South Pacific) on our daily trips to Bligh Water, where there’s some of the healthiest, thriving soft coral diving in the world.

Later, head out on a deep-sea fishing excursion, try your hand at kitesurfing, dabble in our full suite of non-motorized water sports, or venture off to explore the enchanting surrounds of the Ra province.

Secluded and remote enough to forget bustle of city life, but close enough (just 10 minutes) to Rakiraki town should you want to do some shopping and exploring, Volivoli has everything you need while still remaining rural and luxuriously untouched. Spread out over many acres on its own peninsula, our 32 ocean view rooms are comprised of four brand-new, two-bedroom luxury family villas, 11 newly-renovated premium ocean view bures, nine deluxe ocean view rooms, and eight standard ocean view rooms. Each room is found along garden paths that wind through brightly-coloured hibiscus, fragrant frangipani and flowering bird of paradise. The only sound you’ll hear in the morning at Volivoli are the birds singing, the ocean lapping the shore, and the quiet hum of the dive boat coming into the house reef to take out our divers—so relax and take in the quiet that is Volivoli.
