Diving with Dressel Divers at Iberostar Cozumel

Go Deep Scuba enjoyed a week at the all-inclusive Iberostar Resort on Cozumel in April 2023.  Dressel Divers has their dive shop at the Iberostar dock.  It is a short walk from our rooms to the dock. The dive sites are minutes away on their comfortable fleet of boats.

Iberostar is located on the southern end of Cozumel which means our boat rides are very short.  Most sights are less than 10 minutes from the dock!  Your surface interval is spent back at the resort instead of on the boat.  That means you can pick up something in your room forgotten or freshen up between dives.

All 24 Go Deep Scuba team members had a great time! We had 17 divers and 7 non-divers on this adventure.

Congratulations to Emilie becoming an Open Water PADI certified scuba diver.  Congratulations to Michele and Erik becoming new Enriched Air Nitrox certified divers.  Go Deep Scuba can certify YOU, too!

We stayed at the resort for 8 days and 7 nights with 5 days of 2-tank dives.  Our package included round trip airport transfers, resort fees, and taxes.  As an added bonus, we had free Nitrox.  Our price included all meals, adult beverages, and resort gratuities.  Dive Master & boat tips were not included.

This was the 3rd time Go Deep Scuba has stayed with Iberostar Cozumel.  The rooms were clean & well maintained.  Plus, they are close to the dock!  We all have individual lockers at the Dive Center to keep our gear safe & dry when we’re not diving.  The buffet meals included in our package were plentiful and delicious.  In addition, you could opt for other specialty dinner restaurants.  They required separate reservations, but are a fun experience.  Don’t forget the nightly entertainment!  Every night the resort offers delightful entertainment.  We enjoyed adult beverages at no extra charge.

Several divers took the short ferry ride over to Playa del Carmen to dive the cenotes with Dressel Divers on the mainland.

Cozumel offers Caribbean diving at its finest.  We loved average water temps between 78-82F and average visibility of 100+ feet while diving destinations such as Palancar Reef, Yucab, Paso del Cedral, Punta Sur, and several walls just off shore a few minutes away.
